The Cisco Codec C60 does not require an option key to enable full dual-display functionality. Dual-display functionality is native to the C60. The C20, C40, and EX90 all require an option key to enable full dual-display functionality. 
The following option keys can generally be installed on devices that run Cisco TelePresence TC software, such as the C series and EX series models:
Dual display  
MultiSite  
Presentation  
High definition  
Premium resolution 
The MultiSite option key enables systems to create ad-hoc conferences without requiring an external multipoint control unit (MCU). Ad-hoc conferences are on-demand conferences and are limited to four simultaneous participants. 
The Presentation option key, which is sometimes called the Natural Presenter option key, enables systems to send presentations. This key is supplied by default on new systems. The EX series models include presentation functionality natively without an option key. 
The High definition option key allows 720p definition at 30 frames per second. The C40 and C60 support this feature natively; the C20 requires the High definition option key to support high-definition functionality. 
The Premium resolution option key allows higher resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 at 60 frames per second. All C series models require an option key to support these higher resolutions.

On a Cisco TelePresence multipoint control unit (MCU), custom layouts can be applied for participants who join the conference. To select a custom layout for participants on a Cisco TelePresence MCU, navigate to Conferences and select a conference name. Click the Custom layout tab, and select the layout that you want to apply. To apply the custom layout instead of the default layout for new participants who join the conference, select Make new participants see this view. Custom layouts can be applied for all conference participants or on a per-participant basis. 
Custom layouts can be applied at any time. To apply the currently selected custom layout to all participants currently in the conference, select Switch all participants to this view.

The only difference between individual and group FindMe accounts is the action that is taken when a device in the primary list is busy. FindMe enables users to be reached on multiple devices by using a single FindMe ID. Each individual or group FindMe account has only one FindMe ID associated with it. 
When a FindMe ID is called, all of the primary devices that are associated with the account will ring simultaneously. If one of the primary devices on an individual FindMe account is busy, it is assumed that the user is also busy; therefore, the call will be redirected to the devices in the busy list. By contrast, if one of the primary devices on a group FindMe account is busy, the other primary devices will still ring; the devices in the busy list will only ring if all of the primary devices on a group FindMe account are busy. 
Both individual and group FindMe accounts can have up to 15 devices configured, and all of them can be called simultaneously. With either type of account, if a call is not answered within a configured number of seconds, the devices in the no-answer list will ring until the caller hangs up or the call is answered; alternatively, you can configure the account so that the caller receives an automated response. 
Up to 10 locations can be configured on individual and group FindMe accounts. Each location can have different rulesets and different devices configured for the primary, busy, and no-answer lists. You can configure the active location or edit the rulesets for a location by logging in to the FindMe home page.

You can view call statistics, control the camera, add a participant, and share a presentation from the Call Control tab on a Cisco Codec C60 while in a call. To display call statistics, click the Show details button. Call statistics that are displayed include the call rate, the call protocol, the video resolution, and jitter and loss statistics. 
To control the camera, click the Camera Control button. You can use the arrow keys to move the camera and the + and - keys to zoom in and out. 
Up to four participants can communicate on a MultiSite call. Each participant can be added and disconnected individually. To add a participant, click the button next to the participant's name. 
To share a presentation, select the presentation source from the dropdown list and click the Start Presentation button. Typically, a PC is used as the presentation source. To stop sharing, click the Stop Presentation button. 
You cannot change the call protocol or the call bit rate while in a call. These settings must be configured from the Call Control tab on a Cisco Codec C60 before placing the call.

Cisco Video Surveillance Encoding Server is an all-in-one appliance that can encode, distribute, manage, and archive video feeds using both IP and analog cameras. Each server can encode up to 64 channels and store up to 24 TB of video. Motion detection features are supported. The Encoding Server can be used on its own or alongside Cisco Video Surveillance Operations Manager. 
Cisco Video Surveillance Encoding Server is a component of the Cisco Video Surveillance Manager (VSM). Cisco VSM consists of the following primary components:

Cisco Video Surveillance Media Server distributes, archives, and manages video feeds. Video streams are sent from IP cameras and from encoders connected to analog cameras to the Media Server, which replicates those streams to viewers as needed. Both Cisco and third-party cameras and encoders are supported. 
Cisco Video Surveillance Operations Manager is responsible for centralized configuration and management of video-based resources. The Operations Manager provides secure web-based consoles that can be used to manage multiple Media Servers, Virtual Matrixes, cameras, encoders, and users. 
Cisco Video Surveillance Virtual Matrix provides flexible control of video that can be delivered to any number of monitors. Video that is stored on the Media Server can be aggregated and displayed on one or more monitors throughout the network. Triggers can be configured so that video can be delivered when a particular event happens, such as the activation of a fire alarm or a motion sensor.

Transforms are applied on a Cisco TelePresence Video Communication Server (VCS) from the lowest numbered priority to the highest numbered priority. Priority values for pre-search transforms range from 1 through 65534. Each transform can be set to match an exact string, a prefix, a suffix, or a regular expression, also known as a regex. If a match is made, the alias is modified. 
Transforms are not applied based on a transform number or how specific the pattern is. If a large number of matches are made on a particular transform, you should consider prioritizing that transform so that it is encountered first, thereby speeding up the search process.

You must set the IP configuration to Manual. If the IP configuration is set to Automatic via DHCP, the Cisco TelePresence multipoint control unit (MCU) 5300 will ignore a static IP address configuration. By default, a Cisco MCU 5300 is configured to receive its IP configuration from a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server. 
The Cisco MCU 5300 has two Ethernet interfaces: Port A and Port B. You can change the IP address of either port by using the command-line interface (CLI), but you are not required to do so. To configure a static IP address for Port A, issue the static A ip-address subnet-mask [default-gateway] command. To configure Port A to receive its IP configuration from a DHCP server, issue the dhcp -4 A command. To configure Port B similarly, change the A keyword to B.
The subnet mask and default gateway in this scenario are probably configured correctly. Changing neither the subnet mask nor the default gateway will cause the device's IP address to change. 
You need not reboot the Cisco MCU 5300 after configuring a static IP address. The static IP address will take effect as soon as it is configured as long as the IP configuration is set to Manual.

You should issue the dhcp command to dynamically configure an IP address on Ethernet Port A on a Cisco TelePresence multipoint control unit (MCU) 5300 Series device. For example, to dynamically assign an IPv4 address to Port A, you should issue the dhcp -4 A command. Dynamic addressing is provided by a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server. 
You should issue the static command to manually configure an IP address on Ethernet Port A. The syntax of the static command is static port ip-address net-mask [default-gateway]. For example, to assign address 10.20.30.40/24 on Port A with default gateway 10.20.30.1, you should issue the static A 10.20.30.40 255.255.255.0 10.20.30.1command. 
You should issue the dns command to statically configure a Domain Name System (DNS) server address. The syntax of the dns command is dns primary-server-address[secondary-server-address] [domain]. 
You should issue the ethertype command to configure speed and duplex settings on Ethernet Port A. To configure Port A to use autosensing mode, you should issue the ethertype A auto command. To manually configure Port A with speed or duplex settings, you should issue the ethertype A [10 | 100] [half | full] command. 
You should issue the status command to display the current configuration and status of the Ethernet ports. Speed, duplex, and static or dynamic IP address information is displayed by the status command.

Only Multiway requires a Cisco TelePresence Video Communication Server (VCS) and a Cisco TelePresence multipoint control unit (MCU). MultiSite and Multiway provide ad-hoc, or on-demand, conferencing. 
MultiSite uses a phone's native MCU functionality, so it does not require a Cisco MCU or a Cisco VCS. However, it requires that a MultiSite option key be installed on each endpoint. By contrast, Multiway uses dedicated external conferencing resources but does not require an option key on the endpoints. MultiSite and Multiway are mutually exclusive; if Multiway is used on your network, you should disable MultiSite on the endpoints. 
MultiSite allows four simultaneous participants on a video call. Multiway allows many more participants and is limited only by the MCU that controls the conferencing. To participate in an ad-hoc conference, simply press the Conf, Join, cBarge, or Add keys on the endpoint.

You would connect a Cisco TelePresence PrecisionHD camera to a Cisco C-series codec by using a VISCA cable. A VISCA cable, which is an RJ45toDB9 cable, is used for camera control functions and also provides power to the directly connected camera. 
You would not use a VISCA cable to connect a Cisco TelePresence PrecisionHD camera to a monitor or other video capture device. Instead, you would use a High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) cable or a high-definition serial digital interface (HDSDI) cable. Both outputs can be connected to the camera simultaneously. 
You would not use a VISCA cable to connect a Cisco TelePresence PrecisionHD camera to an uninterruptable power supply (UPS) device. Instead, you would use a 12volt direct current power cable. 
You would not use a VISCA cable to connect one Cisco TelePresence PrecisionHD camera to another. Instead, you would use an RJ11-to-RJ45 daisy-chaining cable. The RJ11 end connects to the daisy-chaining port of the camera that is closer to the codec; the RJ45 end connects to the camera control port of the farther camera.
